The following statement was delivered by the Overseer of Tennessee:
To the Members, Ministers and Friends of The Church of God, Tennessee. I want to take a moment and address the present situation that we are facing in our country and globally. President Trump has asked the American people not to congregate in groups of more than 10 for at least the next two weeks to help minimize and stop the spread of this virus. I understand that each area is different and throughout the world and even in the state of Tennessee. As a pastor myself and as the State Overseer I am praying for each of you as you are called upon to make the decisions for your local congregations. If you need anything during this time please let me know and I will continue to pray for you and each member of The Church of God for God’s hedge of protection on each one! I would like to encourage each one in these trying times to take courage and look unto the Lord for that is where our help cometh from. He is all that we need and He will see us through these hard times. I pray the Bride of Christ be that beacon of light directing souls to Christ in this dark world and that the revival flames burn throughout the world! May God bless each of you and please let me know if there is anything I can do to help aide in these troubling times.
Our General Overseer, Bro Pimentel has addressed the Church to encourage every member. I urge you to watch his statement found above and at thechurchofgod.org. I pray that you would be blessed by these words of encouragement from our General Overseer.
